He holds a degree in sociology, specializing in communications and mass media, and a Master's in Business Administration from SDA Bocconi, School of Management at Bocconi University in Milan. Since 2020, he has served as President of Assopiscine – the Italian Swimming Pool and Wellness Association.Since 1982, he has worked in the swimming pool, wellness, and swimming facility sector. Over the years, he has held management roles at leading national and multinational companies. He teaches business organization at the Bergamo Institute of Advanced Training.

Mauro Altini

Owner of the La Sabbiona farmhouse and winery

He represents the third generation at the helm of the La Sabbiona agritourism and winery. Immediately after completing his agricultural studies, he decided to dedicate himself passionately to the family business, the first agritourism in Oriolo dei Fichi, nestled in the picturesque hills surrounding the ancient medieval tower. For 12 years, he was President of the Torre di Oriolo Association.Over time, the agritourism business necessitated the addition of a restaurant service—offering visitors the opportunity to savor traditional Romagna cuisine—as well as a swimming pool and panoramic outdoor hot tub.

A landscape agronomist, he was born in Reggio Emilia where he lives and works. He follows his own path in garden and landscape architecture, participating in training and work experiences alongside great exponents of the sector, paying particular attention to the knowledge of mineral and plant materials. He works in landscape and garden design in Italy and in many foreign countries, including England, Tunisia, Egypt, Angola, São Tomé and Príncipe, Greece, and the United States.

A microbiological chemical technician, he began his career in quality control and technological development laboratories in the food and then industrial sectors, working with steel and paper. Since 1996, he has been working at CHIMIGIEN, a company operating in the field of chemical products for swimming pool water treatment, where he oversees the commercial and technical sectors, supporting the company in regulatory, technical, and product safety compliance. Since 2001, he has been a consultant for the safety of road transport of dangerous goods (ADR).He is a member of the Technical Commission of ASSOPISCINE, the Italian Association of Swimming Pool Manufacturers, of which he was also coordinator. Since 2013, he has been a member of the GL11/CT020 “Swimming Pools” working group at UNI and, in May 2024, he was appointed coordinator of the same.

Emanuele Boaretto

President of Federalberghi Terme, Architect, Creator and Designer of Y-40®, DIVECUBE and PHI 12

He brought Montegrotto Terme (Padua) to worldwide fame with his Y-40® The Deep Joy, a Guinness World Record holder for the world's deepest pool. A graduate in architecture from the IUAV University of Venice, he began his career as an architect while also serving as legal director of Millepini Immobiliare, which built the eponymous 4-star thermal hotel in Montegrotto, and as project manager and administrator for other 4-star hotels. He designed and built an automated thermal mud transport system, a solution later installed in spas throughout Italy.He was president of the Hoteliers' Association, the "Pietro d'Abano" Thermal Studies Center, and then of Federalberghi Terme Abano Montegrotto. He is currently president of Federalberghi Terme at the national level.In addition to Y-40, still the deepest thermal water pool in the world, he designed DIVECUBE in Taichung, Taiwan, featuring low environmental impact solutions. Under construction, PHI 12 Spazio Sommerso, in Montegrotto Terme.

A freelancer, he previously managed analysis laboratories and systems for drinking water and wastewater treatment companies, and then served as technical manager for swimming pool companies. A close collaborator with Professione Acqua, he now provides consulting services for swimming pool water chemical treatment management, with a focus on automatic dosing systems and ADR consulting.

With a degree in Dietetics, Exercise Science, and Human Nutrition, he is a consultant, science communicator, and trainer for academic and professional organizations, recognized for his ability to integrate exercise and nutritional skills in a multidisciplinary approach to wellness and performance.For years, he has worked in sports dietetics, nutritional education, metabolism, body composition, and nutrition aimed at intestinal health, with a strong interest in the interaction between nutrition, aging, and cognitive health. He is the author of numerous technical and popular articles and a speaker at conferences dedicated to sports performance, health, and prevention.He collaborates on the design of training protocols and integrated nutritional plans, with the aim of improving physical efficiency, cognitive clarity, stress adaptation, and overall quality of life. His approach combines scientific evidence, practical applications, and clear, method-based communication with measurable results.
