The holistic and cross-cutting design vision that has driven both XLeisure and Outex-Outdoor Experience since their very first edition will be enriched in the 2027 edition by two new, original immersive areas set up within the Expo. In addition to “Wellness Alive,” the prestigious traveling installation designed by the Apostoli Wellness Creators design studio, visitors and conference attendees will have access to an immersive area born from the long-standing collaboration between XLeisure and AIAPP - the Italian Association of Landscape Architecture.

Entrusted to landscape architect Simone Ottonello, this project will feature a “hidden garden” centered around the four natural elements (Fire, Air, Earth, Water) plus a fifth element represented by the “vital spirit” of plants and human beings living peacefully together on Earth. In Ottonello’s own words, this garden was designed to “encourage contemplation of the hypnotic dance of Fire, while being captivated by the music of Water and immersed in the colors of Vegetation.” The innovative use of certain materials will allow visitors to enjoy an experience that can be easily replicated in gardens and terraces of all types and sizes. As the founder of the S.O.A.P. studio, which specializes in the design (planning and restoration) of public and private outdoor spaces, Ottonello has, over his 25 years of experience, overseen projects published in Italy’s leading industry magazines.

Both installations will be “live”, meaning they will be integrated into the conference program (common to XLeisure and Outex) which will highlight their ideas and objectives through specially designed presentations and numerous opportunities for dialogue between the public and experts.
