Thermal Pools: New Management Models and Scientific Approaches

Conference in collaboration with Federalberghi Terme Nazionale and Federalberghi Terme Abano Montegrotto

Key issues for the development of spa tourism will be addressed, combining entrepreneurial vision and scientific insight. Speakers will include Emanuele Boaretto and Vincenzo Romano Spica. Boaretto is the president of Federalberghi Terme, as well as a visionary architect and entrepreneur: he is the creator and designer of Y-40®, The Deep Joy, the facility that brought Montegrotto Terme (Padua) to global fame, earning him a Guinness World Record for the world's deepest swimming pool. Romano Spica, Full Professor of Hygiene and Public Health at the University of Rome "Foro Italico," will discuss the latest technologies and scientific evidence for application in spas for prevention, hygiene, and sustainable management. These topics will take into account the findings of the eleventh edition of the ICSPS - International Conference on Swimming Pools and Spas, held in Athens last fall.
