The ForumPiscine Scientific Committee
The establishment of the ForumPiscine Scientific Committee is one of the important actions taken by the event organisers during the intense and unusual months of work and 'networking' between 2020 and 2021, during the most serious health emergency of the last century. From 2021 – the year of its establishment – to the present day, in an era marked by radical changes and great challenges, the Scientific Committee has been committed to the cultural growth and economic development of the swimming pool sector at every level of the supply chain (builders, manufacturers and suppliers, technicians and managers).
The Committee's activities have covered a wide range of areas, not limited to the exhibition and conference context of the only internationally recognised Italian swimming pool trade fair, but also including 'extraordinary' initiatives, initiating dialogue and discussion with institutions and government authorities, consolidating collaborations with federations and associations that play a key role in the sector, and promoting projects and initiatives in various areas for the benefit of the sector. The founding members of the ForumPiscine Scientific Committee, together with the organisers, include personalities who have distinguished themselves for their scientific, technical and professional expertise and who, for this reason, can make a difference to the world of swimming pools: Ivano Pelosin, Vincenzo Romano Spica and Marco Sublimi.
Until December 2023, the Committee was also able to count on the contribution of Guido Martinelli, the most renowned and respected expert in sports law, tax law and labour law of our time, one of the leading legal figures in the world of sport. A few years after its establishment, the working group is expanding and strengthening with the addition of three other influential figures: Roberto Bresci, Biagio Giancola and Antonello Panza.
